Lucia is a 31-year-old abstract artist, born in Guatemala. Her journey as an artist began in 2019 when her first child was born. Passionate about art since childhood, she has always been drawn to interior design and the role that color plays in evoking emotions and feelings. Painting became Lucia's refuge during the challenging moments of motherhood. In those quiet hours she discovered pure joy, a rush of adrenaline, and a renewed sense of creativity. It became her sanctuary—a place where she felt truly alive. Each session left her calmer, less anxious, and more present with her children. This experience revealed the profound power of art and ignited a strong desire in her to share this joy with the world.

Primarily self-taught, Lucia has enhanced her abstract art style through participation in art and color theory courses. She has been selected to showcase her works at two prominent venues in Guatemala. She will soon have representation in Mexico through the prestigious Aura Galerías. Her art was featured at the Latente Art Expo in Guatemala, and she will hold her first solo exhibition in November 2024. Additionally, she was invited to participate at the Miami Art Week Wynwood Gallery pop up show in December 2024. In February 2025, she will take part in the BADA Art Fair in Mexico City (CDMX).
